In July 2023, URCA became part of the European Alliance INVEST– INnoVations for rEgional SusTainability, focused on sustainable regional development, innovative pedagogy, and new training programs.
At the Department of External Relations and International Development (DREDI), we implement the internationalization policy of the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne, which revolves around 4 major axes:
• Facilitating European and international mobility of students, researchers, and administrative staff;
• Developing scientific cooperation with foreign universities;
• Pursuing an active policy of institutional partnerships;
• Ensuring dynamic communication targeting international audiences and encouraging incoming and outgoing mobility.
The INVEST Education and Training Project Manager (M/F) will be part of the INVEST European University team, in close collaboration with the Vice-President for INVEST under the supervision of the INVEST team manager.
The INVEST Education and Training Project Manager (M/F) is responsible for overseeing the training programmes developed within the INVEST framework, in accordance with the tasks outlined in the different Work Packages, particularly WP4 – Education, led by the University of Cordoba (UCO) in Spain. He plays a key role in coordinating the participation of the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne (URCA) in the alliance’s training activities and in developing an effective communication strategy to promote these initiatives.
This objective is divided into several missions, which may evolve according to the alliance's needs:
Mission 1: Monitor INVEST Work Packages related to training (WP4, WP5, and WP7)
Participate in defining the accreditation paths and frameworks for joint programmes at the Bachelor’s and Master’s levels;
Oversee the design and implementation of micro-credits, as well as their recognition, harmonisation, and integration on dedicated platforms;
Coordinate the organisation of thematic schools (Summer/Winter Schools) in collaboration with INVEST partners and the Exebio institute, ensuring logistics and promotion;
Contribute to the drafting of deliverables related to the above tasks in English.
Mission 2: Coordinate URCA's participation in INVEST training activities
Facilitate the work done by URCA’s academic players involved in INVEST activities and its different taskforce;
Map URCA's study programmes which are in line with INVEST topics;
Identify cooperation opportunities between URCA’s training programmes and those of its partners, and support the implementation of such cooperation with the international cooperation officer.
Mission 3: Communication, monitoring, and awareness
Participate in national and European training networks;
Monitor European policies and guidelines in this field;
Ensure the visibility of training projects and events organised by URCA within the alliance;
Attend fairs, forums, and conferences to represent URCA and INVEST.
